Accessibility Statement
Crossroadworks is dedicated to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone, and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Crossroadworks is committed to ensuring that our website conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards.
Accessibility Features on Our Site
To help ensure our website is accessible, we have designed and built the site with the following key features:
- Skip Navigation: A "Skip to main content" link is available at the very beginning of the page for keyboard and screen reader users to bypass navigation menus.
- Keyboard Accessibility: All interactive elements, including buttons, forms, and navigation menus, are fully operable using only a keyboard.
- Clear Focus States: Visual focus indicators are enabled on all focusable elements to ensure clear visual guidance during keyboard navigation.
- Contrast Ratios: Text and visual elements meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 AA contrast requirements (at least 4.5:1 for standard text and 3:1 for large text).
- Semantic Structure: We use appropriate HTML5 landmarks and semantic markup (e.g., headers, navs, mains, and sections) to establish a logical heading and layout hierarchy.
- Reduced Motion: We respect system-level preferences for reduced motion by disabling animations via the
prefers-reduced-motionmedia query.
